I recovered this for being my favorite video about Project Wingman and its popularity with nearly 100k views. I apologize for any decrease in the quality of audio or video as this had to be screen recorded from Wayback. Thumbnail was poorly recreated by me. Enjoy :) --

This battle is dark souls level difficult. Especially when you dont have a ballin plane to challenge Crimson 1. Pixy does not need a balling plane, but if he had the Morgan in this universe. Who knows how fast this battle would ended.

Both these guys can be grade A A-holes. Putting them against each other seemed too perfect an oppurtunity.

Maybe next time he will have the ADFX-01 or maybe this skin is good enough. If you liked the skin let me know in the comments if I should provide a link to it

Also, Pixy's own dialogues and the way he treats Crimson 1 (like a petty rookie) fits so much with the context he might have been Monarch himself:

-I've had my fill of going home without wings (alluding to his past after he left his Air Force or being denied his pay for not completing the contract, perhaps?)
-You fired up? Come shoot me down! (Taunting Crimson after chasing him out of Yellowstone and shooting his wingmen down)
-There's no mercy on war. People live and people die; that's all there is to it. (Makes sense after countless operations, and furtherly cemented after the bombing of Prospero)
-There's not much difference between these countries from up here. (Do I need to elaborate here?)
-There might be a resemblance, but we never face in the same direction. (They're Aces, they're the top fighters of their factions and they've swayed the war in their own ways)
-I don't have time for that, it's every man for himself. (Mercenary, do I need to say more)
-While you're up here fighting for 'peace' tons of blood is being shed on the ground! Some peace! (Hating on Crimson's 'Peacekeeper' title and hypocrisy when he literally brought Calamity 2.0 just when the ceasefire was given, also about the soldiers and civilians on Presidia who were unfortunate enough to survive the explosion but not the ensuing chaos)
-You think you can stop bloodshed by shedding more blood!? Flying with those ideas swimming around your head is going to get you killed! (By himself or by Federation forces who don't want to deal with his bullshit anymore in fear of totally destroying the world)
-This world is a lost cause! (Perhaps he meant Cascadia's Calamity Event or the Federation's desire for expansion sooner or later fucking things up for everyone)
-I'm only here to do what I was paid to do. (Simple as.)
-Can you see any borders from here? (Destroyed city and apocaliptic landscape) What have borders given us? (War between Cascadia and the Federation)
-This is where it all starts (People will soon find out about the Cordium attacks and the Federation might face War from all sides and from inside) You know what I'm talking about right? (Rethorical question)
-Let's take care of business. (Dealing with loose ends and focusing on the prize)
-Is that right? Just look at the view - the sky is on fire! What a joke... (Hits harder when you realize Monarch is Cascadian, so listening to this sick fuck talk about home and Cascadia's soul after obliterating it must have enraged him)
-A couple of dogs like us fighting the last battle. (a lone Mercenary and an insane Rebel with an obsession)
-The tides should turn once they get OUR capital city back. They've got a reason to fight. The will of the people is a powerful thing! (couldn't be more perfectly put: after meeting characters like Stardust and General Elizabeth and soon knowing the actions of Crimson 1 will reflect upon the Federation, there will be global uproar and even more pressure on them to cease the fighting)
-Fire away, coward! (remember that time when Crimson One fled after he got one wingman down? Remember when he chose to nuke a city in order to fight Monarch WITH additional allied aircraft in order to put things 'even'?)

The rest of his dialogues are pretty much straightforward, but Pixy here roasts Crimson in such a way that Crimson's 'DIE MERCENARY!' comes from all the taunts and arguments that Pixy delivers; because Pixy is right. Crimson's beliefs are made fun of and mocked just as Pixy evades all his burst missiles and railgun shots.

I love how the Dialog syncs up with when they are talking. Like When Crimson is rambling about how it’s his (Monarch’s) fault and Pixy giving the retort of How shedding blood can’t solve problems and how the world is a lost cause, the music takes a deep tone. And when he talks about how the people will rally up when they get their capital back the music kind of sounds majestic as he says it.

Pixy shot through the radio <<Think you can dodge that?>> as his last two missiles impacted on Crimson 1's superplane. He activated a sharp AoA turn towards the burning plane as Crimson 1 tiredly stated back, "Monarch... when you hear the thunder..."

Pixy looked around for this demon of a man until he saw him right overhead then turned to face his airplane towards Crimson 1's while firing his cannon in this madman's direction, "When the storm... comes for you..."

Pixy continued activating his airbrake and vehemently emptying his cannon into Crimson 1's fuselage, "Remember me..." To Pixy's surprise, the superplane erupted in a massive explosion blinding Pixy and forcing him to yank back on the throttle, open the airbrakes, and jerk his F-15 S/MTD into a yaw turn to the right. Pixy whistled into the radio, <<Yo buddy... Still alive?>> more to himself than to anyone around.

Suddenly, Pixy's feet met cold hard grass and he tumbled to the ground. He immediately cut off his parachute and stared at the Avalon Dam before him, barren of all signs of life. What...? He must have ejected from the Morgan before it ploughed into the ground but how...? What was that thunderous hellscape? Was it simply a dream?


"It may be true that the world has no need of borders... but would getting rid of them really change anything? The world won't change for the better unless we trust people. Trust is vital in a peaceful world. But that will never happen...." Pixy finally stated to the reporter as his eyes glazed over remembering the time that he fought his way out of hell.

I'd like to imagine a alternate timeline where Pixy was involved but Monarch was still Monarch.

Late into the war after the Prospero disaster, Pixy flies for the federation as a mercenary and even backs up crimson during the encounter with his squad before presidia, with it being implied through radio chatter that Pixy isn't fond of Crimson, the Federation or their reasons for fighting, and after a engagement with Pixy during the battle of Prisidia, he is still airborne and adheres to the ceasefire like everyone else, and ends up being the only other plane airborne aside from Monarch after Crimson's surprise attack. Pixy wouldn't have been present for the events in prospero hence why hes fighting for the Federation at this point in my scenario and isn't rogue yet.

As I imagine this being pre-nuking Pixy prior to Crimson's Cordium bombing of Presidia, I imagine that at this moment, Pixy would fall into his 'World With No Boundries" mindset quickly considering that Crimson did what he did in the name of the Federation, a nation with borders, even if from his own will and insanity, and then Pixy, Crimson and Monarch would engage in an epic three way dog fight over the ashes of Prisidia where their all taunting, mocking and calling each other on their beliefs and actions.

In the end, Pixy or Monarch would shoot down Crimson and Pixy would retreat and go on to be apart of the formation of a PW iteration of a World with No Boundries, while Monarch is left to collect on Sicario's payment by Cascadia, likely to encounter Pixy again in the future. And sooner or later during or after the conflicts that would emerge with the federation and other nations after the Cascadian War, a world with no boundries would emerge and start messing shit up like in AC:Z timeline and eventually there would be a final encounter involving a warhead the same strength and scale as V2 but with Cordium loaded, with monarch who is flying for forces against the federation remnants and/or a world with no boundries facing off against Pixy one more time, as Cipher did in the AC Zero timeline.
