ACE COMBAT™ SYMPHONY - Zero (Dual Mix)

After listening to the live version, I think this is probably one of the greatest video game soundtrack pieces of all time. However, the live version was kind of weak on the vocal and guitar mix, so I added those in using FL studio and the original mix.

Every time I hear this masterpiece, my eyes can’t stop fill with tears. Too much memories…This game got me into aviation and led me to get my pilot's license.

The vocalist in the red dress killed this one, goose bump every single play. The echo around @2:15 is out of this world.

Also, really learned to appreciate the difficulty of the original composition's guitar piece. I feel that these two more than capable guitarist was straggling keeping up.

Mission 18 is spectacular, the pacing, the dogfight, and the philosophy behind it paired with the intensity of the situation fighting against your former wingman for the fate of the world. And then the music comes and gets even better. Ace Combat Zero will always have a special place in my heart.

i know most fans would call the battle between cipher and pixy a joust. But to me it really feels like a fencing duel. The dancing of blades mimiced through the dance in the sky with war machines trying to gain the opening.

What I like about this Dual Mix is the inclusion of the gameplay being interwoven with scenes of showing the orchestra playing the music. Kind of like one of those Video Games Live concert.

Is nobody gonna talk about the amazing build up to the Crescendo at 2:58. Cause that’s my favorite part. It’s only amplified by the images of Cypher and Pixy charging at each other head on.

Good god, I'm getting goosebumps and I haven't even played the game, so it's not just memories and nostalgia that make this such an effective song for sure. Fantastic piece and fantastic performance.
