Ramble On Guitar Lesson Pt.1 - Led Zeppelin - Jimmy Page - Acoustic Guitar Intro, Verse & PreChorus

"Ramble On" is one of Led Zeppelin's most popular tunes. It has some beautiful acoustic guitar work as well as some very classic guitar riffs.
There are two things going on during most of the song. One is an acoustic guitar part and the other is an electric guitar part layered on top.

We will cover both in these lessons so you will have your choice in which ones to play at that particular point in the song. The performance video sticks mainly with the main parts of the song as of course as I can't perform both parts at the same time except for one section which you will see below.

Most of the layered acoustic and electric parts are very similar however, so playing just one of them at a time still makes for some very full sounding guitar parts to play along with the recording. So have with this classic Led Zeppelin tune and make sure to keep those request's coming!!

Hey thanks for watching. The pickups are a Dimarzio Fast Track 2, Pro Track and Chopper. They aren't any better than the original pickups designed by Eric Johnson that came stock. I just needed a humbucking sound for what kind of stuff I was playing so I switched them out. The original single coils were great though. :)

Hi ! Wanted to watch this "tuto", and that cause a friend of mine had uploaded a tuto about "Whole lotta love" with a Les Paul Gibson, and the thing that had made me watch your video is that we can see your Stratocaster. I thought it was a strat with single coils, but when I've seen the Pick-ups, I've understood why I can't really say that "I love the sound". But anyway, the video is well recorded, we understand all you say, and that's the principal, the rest engages just myself. Well done.BYE !

ten8goa what do you mean they have a fd up history of naming songs? the name of the song doesn't have to come from the lyrics. and for the record this song does have "ramble on" in the lyrics.
