A soon you can play ramble on, go back to old songs u use to play and you realize they sound much better, because your fingers are stronger through the pain of learning ramble on. For me thats more amazing than landing on the moon

Thank you Marty! Learning to play Zeppelin on guitar after listening to them for decades has given me a new appreciation of their artistry.

dude you've got such a knack for distilling multiple parts down to their essence for a single guitar. Thanks for this.

Merci Marty for so many lessons I have "taken with you" over the past 12 months ! This is not only for this lesson but for all I have learned from your videos. Cheers from France !! 😀

Marty, thank you. You are a great teacher. I appreciate your positivity, your upbeat unpretentious approach, and your willingness to share these lessons to the innerwebs. My 8 year old son and I have been jamming through the pandemic together and I know he'll remember these strange days of being cooped up in our house as a musical moment. For that, I am forever grateful. You made that happen. You brought joy to a dark place. Thank you. Marty, you rock, and I salute you. 🎸

Always cool to hear everyone’s approach to this song. Often similarities and usually differences. It’s tricky because Page has multiple tracks on the studio version and he’s jammin’ on it because he wrote it and he doesn’t even play it the same everytime. Appreciate you sharing your approach. ✌️

Good tip: strum closer to the bridge if you want to sound more similar to the recording

Just started learning this song and couldn't believe you hadn't done a video on it... My prayers have been answered!

I literally started playing a few weeks ago. I bought a good quality acoustic electric guitar and have started practicing the basic chords. You're videos have so much and I can now play most of Johnny Cash's hurt. Thanks so much : )

Love your lesson Marty. Been playing for years on and off. I go through spurts of inspiration to play and make my own music but I always turn to your online lessons for new music/ songs to play. Thanks so much

Thanks for fulfilling my request, this is a great lesson of a classic tune. I am amazed by how much I have learned from you in such a short time, & by the way the average man spends 4 months shaving during his life time, time better spent on the guitar!!!

What a great freaking song. I’m 48 now and have been listening to it since I was 14 (and it was old then).
