"Our problem is not the lack of food, our problem is the lack of access to food for millions."

Still this government is praised and will surely be voted on for another term on the basis of religion and polarization...
I respect our PM but not his governance and outlook on India

If we follow the Jain tradition of eating before sunset, we get time to share leftovers. Dining at 8pm or later gives so little time to do justice socially as well as to the fresh food cooked to good standards.

But then, we will see only holes in such arguments.

Those who have they don't want to share.

I always wonder that apart from stopping food wastage, what are the measures a common man can take to improvise this condition..

Anyone?

Are these metrics adjusted for India. I understand child mortality is similar for every nation. But the other two are not. And 190 million is a far stretch. If this story is to be believed, you should also say where these people are. I am from Kerala and I work at Bangalore. I don't see anyone starving. I frequently travel through three states. Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
If this story is true, that means there are 190 million people without jobs or who cannot do jobs.
US also has a policy to support its citizens getting rich. Here we have a policy of let's keep the poor poorer. The tax structure itself is so stupid that I do not know a single person who is in the upper middle class who wants to stay in India.
At the end of the day if you want poor people to support themselves, they should get a job. For them to get a job, someone should start a business. For someone to start a business, it should reward him/her for that.
Our system is based on the old British Raj and as long as we keep it, nobody with a little brain will stay in India. It is that simple.

We need educated politicians..the legislation needs to change. And, there should be eligible criteria for standing for elections basic being qualified for the post to Run a country ..no criminal background etc...

The problem is indian politicians are not real ..thry don't even have the ability to lead and manage.. they are just making money 🤑💰 for them and thier near and dear ones and hence India will never be a developed country..smart people have ran away from this country to find peace in other nations already. Do I need to say more??
