How to use Acolite to process Sentinel-2 Imagery

In this tutorial, we will go through how to use and access the Acolite software and how to use it to atmospherically correct Sentinel-2 remote sensing data. I am using a Windows computer with Acolite version: Python 20190326.0.

Hi Kyle! I'm trying to use the latest version of ACOLITE (released April 2021) to process some PlanetScope images. I don't know much about coding (only R), and thus so far I have been relying on the GUI. However, I've realized that there are some things I would like to mess around with in the settings file that I can't do through the GUI. I tried launching it in CLI mode following this tutorial/the manual, but it doesn't seem to work with the newest version (there's no 'dist' folder or 'acolite.exe' file). Is there any chance you could make a tutorial on how to launch the latest version in CLI mode an create a settings file? I would be so grateful as there aren't any tutorials for the latest version and the manual hasn't been updated to the latest release. Thank you!

I have a issue, I was following your instructions but when I press the botton for run process the terminal send me thsi message:

Processing error, see log file for details.

But the log file its empty. Anybody have the same issue?

thank you for the explanation! I run the program in the first way you show in the video, but I don't get the file that you erase, what I think is the corrected image. Plus, I can write in the black window (I don't know how is it call in English) and there is an advertisement that say "The MATPLOTLIBDATA environment variable was deprecated in Matplotlib 3.1 and will be removed in 3.3. Restored settings file config/acolite_defaults.txt" I don't understand.
