As a native Texan, i can concur that there’s nothing like that slow smoked bbq, and these gentlemen indeed had themselves a barbecue. It’s not just the food, it’s the company that develops along the way. A 13 hour cook just means that many more hours of hanging out and making memories. That’s why it’s my favorite style of cooking. It’s an experience, but it’s also some of the most unadulterated and delicious food you’ll ever eat. Great video guys!

It was so nice to see these men enjoying what some of us take for granted! This was a reminder to me to appreciate all that I have in my life! It did make me sad that they don't have enough money to even buy chicken. I hope they are paid once in awhile for helping create these videos!?

Texas BBQ is a style of cooking, more then the type of meat that is cooked. All meat is cooked on a low fire and for several hours. We use the term “low and slow” for good bbq.

We have the same custom, also. Our elders eat first. In most families they do. These gentlemen have such good manners, to exchange seats with Babu.

Texas barbique is to celebrate the animal and joy of being together, friends and family and all the rest and have a party. It's a joy whatever you are cooking from shrimp to steak to deer or moose. With baboo's drum you can have a party too.
