In this short video tutorial, we would like to show you how to avoid a pretty common issue when working with longer segments of digital pixels or LED strips. Depending on the lenght of the strip and the number of diodes you are powering from one side, it is a good idea to power it from more points, thus preventing a brightness loss due to voltage drop.

sorry im kinda late to the video but, can someone explain why injecting power at the end doesn’t break the cables? because if you plug it in the wrong polarity it’s going to break right?

Can one power a strip from only the middle? I have not found an answer to this.

Really? You cut the protection, and the strip have connectors on the rear side to do this what you are doing.
