I love Gyoubu, man.

When I first played Sekiro, the mini bosses were tough and all, but they didn't seem that interesting. I could tell I'm fighting against mini bosses...

But when I saw Gyoubu's entrance, bro, that was one of the hypest things I've experienced early game. I was like "THIS is a real boss".

While he was easier than the Chained Ogre, he gave me one of the most epic fights I've had in a long time in gaming. His fight was when I truly started appreciating the music and the game.

Because that music was so epic during the fight, bro. I'd hear the part after 2:00 when he charges with that circling attack, and my heart would be bouncing while trying not to die.

Love this game, love this boss.

he roadblocked me for a long ass time. i didn't really "get" sekiro's combat until i fought genichiro and i only beat gyoubu by trying to trying to play like i was zero in mega man x

Tbh the « fuck it we ball » strategy works fine just run/use the grappling hook towards the boss and spam the shit out of the firecrackers works fine
