Wanted to say thank you! Your video, especially the throttle linkage info was very helpful. FYI - the throttle spring can be a real pain as you noted. I took the spring and compressed it on my bench and used two bread ties to hold it compressed. Then I slid it over the throttle cable and installing the cable into the needle valve was a snap. After the cable was attached to the needle valve I just cut off the ties with a sniper. Presto. Thanks again!

Hey this video is awesome!! I replaced the carburetor that was leaking with a new one and now no leaks!! It is idles great in neutral but it will not idle in drive for more than a minute. Tbh this has been a constant issue do you have any suggestions on why this might be happening?

Did the replacement carb cure your issues permanently? We bought one of these ATV's for my grandson last year and the carb has been a source of constant frustration...sometimes it will suddently die while riding and if I bounce the front end up and down really hard a few times, it fires right up. Other times, he will be riding and it will be pouring gas from the hose coming off the carb.

This video is great. You allowed me to change the carb! However, i have a problem. It now starts and hits wide open throttle and runs full RPM - no idle adjustments seem to stop this. Any suggestions? Help! Merry Christmas
Note that i did use the OEM/existing needle and spring and not what came in the kit (an earlier poster said this may be a bad idea).

Happy to see sum1 make a video on the exact bike my son has..im having a problem with it revving high & taking off soon as it starts. It have a new carb on it. It was running fine..next thing it started dying on throttle..messed with the fuel mixture screw & now its doing the revving high crap..i turned the mixture screw in & nothing turn out & nothing..throttle seems to be fine also..its not caught or ran funny. Idk whats going on lol...got any idea??

Pretty cool video but I have a question why would you put a smaller diameter carburetor on your motor in the video it looks clearly your stock carburetor looks bigger in diameter than the newer one I was just curious if there is some kind of something behind it thanks

I purchased the same kit that you did based on your suggestion. However I couldn't tell the direction that the new fuel filter needs to be in. I could not see any directional lines on the new fuel filter. What symptoms would I have if the fuel filter was put in backwards?
