Well i'm early enough so lets watch first :D
Update
From what i see people like me really dismiss working out and taking care of our bodies i know because i'm literally like 140kg (310lbs or something) WE really need to take care our bodies because in the end it is our hardware. Why do we even expect a software gonna work on a bad hardware which our brain it is XD Well never too late to start working out for sure at least when you are still able to move. I should start doing workout properly so i can live longer so i can make more games hell yeah now that is good reason to work out

I'm already working on a project. And I wish I had 7 hours a week to work on it. Lol. I think my next project is my body. I need to start eating better and get my body in shape. I always find exercising helps me think which is good for solving problems in my code and refining ideas into doable tasks.

I participated in my first game jam in a while back in January (pirate software 14) and that kicked off me studying game development more seriously.

Since then I’ve worked on 6 small games (and actually finished 3) and have learned a ton.

I never intended for it to be a New Years resolution type thing but it just happened that way.

I’m super surprised with how much I improved in not even a year, and for these last two months I’m focusing on improving my programming skills with your tutorials (specifically the kitchen one and c#) to learn more about clean code and making more scalable/larger games!

Great idea! I have 2 goals, get back on my exercise bike on a regular basis and make a dual sticks top down shooter prototype in Unity.
You are a content creator and a motivation creator.

I do find your fitness inspiring. I used to be in the military and I’ve let my life in tech make me skinny

Great tips. Started boxing training with a friend and has already become a good habit.

Not really a game dev goal, but I currently set my for getting a high rank in League of Legends again, just to prove I can still do it.

Next years goal is to create my first Steam Page!

You're the only Unity developer I still watch since I moved to Godot, learned a lot from you via the Kitchen Chaos video, which I did in Godot / GDScript too. You're always positive and inspirational, great videos, keep up the good work. I'm finally working on a game with the intent to publish but it will take more than 60 days!

Damn this is a funny coincidence. I actually set a 60 day goal 4 days ago for a game I've been working on forever to just get motivated again, and this came out now. I'm additionally motivated now. Every bit helps! Thanks!

I'm working on my first game now, and really enjoying all your content, but here is a gym question: preacher curls vs. concentration curls for bicep isolation? Those might be the US centric names for the exercises, but curious if you do either as part of your normal routine.

I've been working on my tower defense/farming sim game. Just finished the features that (I think) I want in the tower defense mode. So just started working on the farming sim side. Hoping to have the done by the end of the year and be able to start adding some content and polishing for a demo going into the first quarter/half of next year.

As far as fitness goes though, I did recently start cycling as of the last couple months. You really can get a lot done in a little time. I started with just doing a single 20km ride and whatever I did just for running errands. Now, I'm easily doing over 100km a week with three weekly rides at about 30km each. Maybe not much next to an experienced cyclist but I've been feeling pretty good about myself.

This is a great way to start working on anything. Set a concrete specific goal and stick to it, you can always expand on it further down the line. I started working on my first person shooter exactly on the October 1st and my goal was to have a somewhat playable Level 1 with 1 to 2 enemies by the end of the month. Having this limited scope meant I had a specific goal in mind and I managed to hit it, what's more I managed to set up a Steam page and I have done way more work on the game than expected, including the main menu and a lot of work on Level 2 and 3 enemies!

Great idea! I love the video, and the fact that you also say that you should not just do new things for new years. : D
I would start this now if I could, but I already stared 3 weeks ago. xD I am ahead of the video. LOL.

My goal is starting to learn and make a game in Unity. Ive been watching videos about game development since the beginning of the year, but I never really started with any project on my own. Just always seemed so overwhelming. But you inspired me to just go with it and start doing something. Ive decided to follow your course from the Kitchen Chaos game and start learning all the basics. Hopefully, ill be able to learn enough so further develop my own ideas into a game.

Love your video´s dude! they are very helpfull
