The catapult is superior to the ski jump? Or the catapults are suprior to the non existent ones on british carriers? Both have the same end result? One is a lot cheaper and easier to maintain. I guess the main advantage to the catapult is it will launch non VTOL aircraft. Thats the main point you so glaring missed when being a classic yank.
