Reforger will CRASH YOUR COMPUTER if you don't use this command

I've discovered a fatal flaw with Arma Reforger that will cause Reforger to crash your system and even prevent Windows from working. Luckily, one little command will fix this problem FOREVER. This is a BIG DEAL, so make sure to share this with your friends and Arma units so they don't crash their computers.

Worked perfectly for the problem i was having, game was freezing everynow and then for like 5 or more seconds the going ok. I did what was said in the video and 100% works . Thank you for the info.

I hope this fixes it but my situation is weird it started after I upgraded my cpu, and it did not freeze one time ever before but the new cpu does not crash in any other game fml...

I could be wrong but I think this may be outdated. Followed directions to a T for making a Reforgermods folder on my Z drive and it didn't work.

Updated Startup parameters page states not to use addonsDir and addonDownloadDir together in the launch options, but I found it was necessary:
"addonDownloadDir...ⓘ It is not necessary to combine this command with addonsDir parameter"

Also make sure to place the directory in quotes if you use any special characters or spaces in the directory name. Quotes will not hurt if the are not needed, so best to but directory name in quotes if you are unsure.

Could I not just physically move the whole arma reforger folder to another drive? Or I have to use this command prompt

My issue is a Linux problem, except it doesn't involve the amount of storage available.

My GPU hangs.

Gpu hangs! 😪 I have tried everything:
Bios update
Under volt cpu
Updating gpu drivers
Windows drivers
Uninstall and reinstall the game
Run it as administrator
Compatible with win 7-8-vista
I cleaned my entire pc
My temperatures are low
And yet I get this bs “gpu hangs!”
At this point I might just request an refund

Cause they couldn't install the mods by default to the same directory that the game was installed just so people get pissed wasting hours trying to figure this out...

Dude I only can load less than 20 mods for my game when I load more than 20 it crashed such B.S need more than 20 mods to be decent Arma 3 i can load 200 to 300 mods

for everyone that did this and can't download any mods. Put " before and to the end of your directory e.g. -addonsDir "E:\Arma Reforger\Mods"
