Walking to school barefoot, imagine that feeling. I got the utmost respect for this man, I was a major pistons fan of the 2004 team. Ben Wallace is truly a warrior. I hope for him that he has his peace of mind.

Still remember those And1 posters with Big Ben that said 'Im an Undrafted Sensation, I work HARD for mine'.

There was no atmosphere like the palace in the mid-2000s in a playoff series. I can still feel the heat from those flames during the team intros, thank you for the memories Big Ben.

The 2004 team intro in that championship run was insane. Mason intro of Ben Wallace was always so cold.

I truly loved that era of that team. They were great. They made playing defense entertaining and showed all heart. That stretch of games where they held like 11 teams under 80 points. That was amazing. Scoring gets all the attention and the love but I respect and appreciate defense much more.

Even though Ben wasn't a native Michigander ...he repped that Michigan toughness to tha fullest. Gave me so much pride after moving away from G Rap. 1 Love Big Ben ....for the record shot out Va Union. My Baby Girl graduated from there also ....HBCU grit and grind produces them DIAMONDS.

My favorite center. I became a big fan of him as well as a devoted one when he left the Pistons. I always supported him and enjoyed every block. Watching this guy collect reb and block a lot of taller and heavier rivals was an amazing experience. Ben was a combination of tank defense, and in his best years he was as fast as a Lamborgini. Years go by, and he still looks phenomenal!!! Thank you Ben!!! For great memories and what a spectacle you made defense in viewing.

Love Big Ben. He’s so emotional because he was raised by a single mother.
