My neighbor turned me on to these guys. I grew up on Waylon Jennings with my dad coming home late from the bar and blasting him until 3 am. My dad just got out of jail at 73 years old for his 8th DUI. Struggle with alcoholism all these years. My mom stuck it out. I have been a bit of an outlaw myself as a daddy's girl. Been on both sides of this song. I been sober 17 years. Struggled like hell to be in a healthy relationship. To be the healthy one...with a healthy one. This song absolutely hits my soul on a whole nother level. This has got to be the most beautiful song I have ever heard. Please don't stop putting out fire like this!

This song reminds me of MYSELF. I haven't knew how to love myself for so long that I just kept hurting myself with drugs and in and out of prison. I'm bad company for myself at times... I think that Struggle is an incredible Man and a great inspiration to people like me who has spent half of my life behind bars and the other half in my addiction and the streets. I love that I have someone I can sit down and listen to and feel it in my heart.
