HA! Streets is dead 😂😂 that’s really how people be looking, too. Like nobody is HOME! They are on vacation and don’t care if you know because it’s gentrified up in there.

I have accidentally ended up on two antidepressants and the combination has made me happier than I’ve ever been. I’m just happy-go-lucky all the time now.

Man I wish taking my anti-depressants felt like that. For me it's more like wrapping some tape around a broken pipe. If I don't keep wrapping new tape around it, the water will gush out. Even though I put new tape on everyday, it still drips and trickles. I've tried so many types of tape, putting on multiple types at once, even types of tape that aren't really meant to fix pipes. There isn't a tape that will keep it from leaking, only the plumber can come and properly fit in a pvc connector so the water can flow without dripping. I called for the plumber, but my own phone rang instead. I don't know a thing about fixing pipes.

Lmao I feel her on her age thing. This guy at a vape shop I started going to this year seemed really old to me, grey hair and a thick white beard, and he (like everyone else) carded me every single time I went there, apparently I looked incredibly young to him. After a few visits he noticed my hand tattoos and said I should just show him my tattoos to prove I'm old enough. Turns out he's only 6 years older than me, asking my nearly 40 year old ass to show tattoos to prove I'm old enough to smoke lmao. I kind of get how vampires must feel walking around looking 20 but they're really 200.

I loved this! The analogy makes sense to me even being from the UK. Gentrification is universal at this point.

I’ve always described like wearing a life jacket. I can’t drown, but it’s not great.

I’m so happy so many of y’all feel good when you’re on medication, but I don’t. Being on antidepressants was horrible for me, maybe because I started so young. My depression started at 9 years old when my grandad who raised me passed. I can’t do it. I’d rather smoke weed and find other things that help me, which is what I did/do. But I’d love to find some meds to help me like y’all did. I wanna feel like that too, but every medication they gave me, made me feel weird in a bad way and then I gave up at about 18 years old 😔

She just hit a 4-point relevant analogy in 45 seconds. Brilliant. I’d say if the topic wasn’t a hot button, she could have slowed it down for more comfortable delivery but she rapid-fired it to buffer the shock value.
