Please pay attention for the last bit!! One of the wires coming from the light lets say/ the BLUE ONE wire it into the COM. The last 2 wires brown colour you need to strap them together and you are done. Bear in mind that this way all wires are live +, the neutral wire it is on your light feed. I don't have L1 or L2 printed on my switch instead I have 2 way and 1 way and Com. So my question is - is 2 way the same as L2 and 1 way the same as L1?
I thought the video was very clear and you made it very easy to understand.

We learnt Loop to Common (Sw. 1), L1 to L1, L2 to L2, Common (Sw. 2) to Live.

Ok I can understand my self, what about others? You need to explain that the switches are linked with 4core cable, in UK they are coloured brown, blue, white and earth. if you wire the last switch lets say/ BLUE L1, WHITE L2, BROWN COM, and earth on the metal box. So far so good? Now you go to the first switch and you wire L1 BLUE, L2 WHITE, earth to the box. There is 3 wires left, the brown coming from the first switch, and 2 wires coming from the light they should be coloured brown and blue.

In a 2 way lighting circuit both switches can be used to turn the light on and off (that's the point of it).

All the wires are red because in a switch there is no neutral. All wires are live so when you replace the switch you need to label which cables came from the common, L1 and L2.

I don't know how much hassle it is to find which wires are which as I've never had to do it but you can probably get some sort of device to do so.

Not good practice to wire the live to the common! Will work but... Common is exactly that, a common connection between the two switches.
Easiest way to remember is common to common, L1 to L1, L2 to L2. Connect the live in the batten holder to L1 on either switch and the live side of the Luminairre to L2 . Easy peasy.
Don't forget to put a brown sleeve on all the wires to comply with the regs (all the wires are potentially live).

thats loop-in method though? with switch fed you connect the live feed into the common, that is what they teach us a college

You obviously know what you're tlking about. Could you give me some advice please. I have replaced the cover of a two way switch and all the wires are red. After copying the wayall the wires went into the old switch the new switchdoesn't work. I bought another one and copied it agai - still doesn't work. All he wires arered and I haven't a clue how to proceed. I haven't had a light in my bathroom and hallway for 4 months. Can I do it by trial and error. Could you advise please.
