Fixed my problem with your help. Thank you very much. The previous person had mixed up the common wire with the rose wire. Simple fix when you know how.

Well I learned something off of this in the U.S. standard a European 2 way switch is what we call a 3 way switch

Hello. What if you want to add two more lights to this arrangement, but you don't have access to the ceiling rose. I currently have this setup for my bedroom light with 2 double gang two way switches either side of the headboard. I want the second gang in each switch to control a reading light on each side of the headboard, but problem is what do I do with the neutral wire. I can't run a new 3 core and earth wire to the original ceiling rose. Hope this description makes sense.
