I had the privilege to meet Shirley Hemphill after an enjoyable evening of watching her in concert.
I was quite pregnant, and she 'picked on' me during her show, and made me part of it. She asked me if I was 'going to do that natural childbirth thing, with puff-puff breathing and all?' I said I was, and Shirley said, 'Unh-unh. When that labor pain hits you, You gonna sing all of James Brown's greatest hits!
A very sweet, funny Lady.
A very memorable, fun evening.
RIP, darling Shirley, and thanx so very much for the magic and memories.

Now why did he drop that horn so it can get ran over? It's just like holding the baby 👶. Now that Rasta guy is gonna go off unless it's the wrong horn.

Robin Williams AND Richard Pryor would have been great together making a film 🎥. During the 90's, Robin Williams was gaining success while Richard Pryor was at the downfall of his career. The film 🎥 "Another You" with the late Gene Wilder was a catastrophe.

With all due respect to our dearly beloved legend, Richard Pryor... This show was too much, too little, too late to reinvent his image. - This wholesome, Bill Cosby (Pre-Rape Conviction), gentrification, Sesame Street, image came across forced and unnatural for him at that time... And I say this with nothing but LOVE for him as a fan. - Sorry
