Dave Chappelle must have watched a lot of Richard Pryor growing up.

This is comedy gold.

This will NEVER EVER be old. The build up from a normal, calm speaking president, to an annoyed, upset brotha from the corner was a genius idea. TV audiences from ‘77 were not ready for a show like this. The Richard Pryor Show should’ve been on HBO. He would’ve had more artistic freedom there.

Brother Richard Pryor is so hilarious.
Pryor turns important issues into laughter.
Brother Paul Mooney writes his scripts too.
RIP Brother Richard Pryor

Yo this man facial expression and body language alone are some of his greatest attributes as a comedian like he set the trend and it’s 2023 I still see him in others

Still waiting on the Black Football owners. He practically called everything in the video. Wow, what a masterpiece.

I see Marsha Warfield, Johnny Yune, Sandra Bullock, John Witherspoon, Tim Reid, and Robin Williams. That’s a testament to Richard’s care for his up and coming comedians.

When he said "his jaws were still tight" about James Harris, my afro grew back!!! He and "Jefferson Street" Joe Gilliam were trying to break the NFL white QB carousel long before we heard of Warren Moon and Doug Williams.

The best thing about this sketch now - is knowing what the first black president had to fight through. So ahead of his time!

This could have been written yesterday and they wouldn't need to change a single word.
