Great video, Thanks Hector! To save some time with Text to Columns, you can Double Click the line arrows to remove them (instead of dragging)

Great work with the Find/Replace. For this particular file, we could use a Find string of "* ??/?? " (without quotes), and the blank replace would get all lines that have some junk and the date. Then we wouldn't need to do text to columns on individual blocks of data.

does this mean that we dont have to pay QB every 3 years to import bank and credit card statements? As in, can I get QB Desktop Pro (pay once) and get the software and be good? Or does the bank feed feature end when the subscription ends? Or do I need the accountant or enterprise version for this?

Hi Hector....I've yet to find a better suite of videos on QB than yours. Thanks and great job. That said, do you know if the app will work on multiple statements on one pdf. For example if I scanned 3 months of statements at once into 1 pdf will it be able to recognize the statement breaks?

I understand everything you are saying as I have been doing these excel cleanups for alot. I use Adobe pdf exporter, but it is fairly sensitive. I have lots of writing on my statements. So are there any free cheap alternatives out there? I usually clean the data up in excel and then just copy and paste from excel right into Batch transactions in QB. I don't bother with conversion. My excel sheet has the QB account codes and that comes over directly over with the copy and paste. So any cheaper software? Please and thank you so much for all that you do! You are so talented.
