Whether samsung or apple or any company for that matter, setting shop in tamilnadu is a serious business hazard. Examples are recent STERLITE stretching all the way to Madura Coats in the 1980s. Tamilnadu kerala West Bengal are graveyards for big companies and their businesses. In this Samsung scenario Dmk acts as if it's supporting Samsung management, it's brother party communists (we're initiated to) start trouble and their other brother party Congress wants to play in between. These idiotic foriegn companies should had set their factory in Karnataka Telengana or Andhra Pradesh.

Sterling closure itself was a standing example for the fate of industries in tamilnadu. Then political leaders and trade union leaders want free weekly money for doing nothing. These foreign companies are ignorant to set shop in Kerala tamilnadu and West Bengal

There are labour laws in this country like the factories act . Why do these people bring up unions? Their leaders just want to pressurize the companies and take hefty sums for normal running of the companies.

Am from Kerala. Kishore subramaniam is absolutely right. Unions have denuded the state of industries. The migrant labour from Bihar and Bengal come here to do menial work which the locals find demeaning
