Tornado size comparison 🤯 | animation HD

Показать описание
There are several scales for rating the strength of tornadoes. The Fujita scale rates tornadoes by damage caused and has been replaced in some countries by the updated Enhanced Fujita Scale. An F0 or EF0 tornado, the weakest category, damages trees, but not substantial structures. An F5 or EF5 tornado, the strongest category, rips buildings off their foundations and can deform large skyscrapers. Watch until the end of the video to see how the El Reno tornado compares to others.

Belive it or not the El Reno tornado was actualy an EF3 because it didn't damage enough things to get the EF5 rating. While it is the strongest tornado in windspeed it's just not the strongest EF5 tornado since it never was one.

I love the animation, but the thing about tornadoes is that the EF scale isn't about their size so much as their wind speed. There have been extremely small EF5's and extremely large EF1s. What I think would be cool is if you did a comparison chart of the size of specific tornadoes, like you could show how big the Jarrel, Moore 1, Moore 2, El Reno, etc tornadoes were in comparison to each other.

Don’t make the tornados taller just make them wider it’s a kinda bad example bc 1mile tornados aren’t 15000 ft talll

Tornado scale is intensity, not size.
