A guy was thrown over 1500 feet from his home and lived to tell the story. People do actually survive being in a tornado. Not most but very few have lived to tell the tale.

“You will have bruises all over your body from bumping into things.”

Right, because a two-by-four, bricks, or a car impacting your body at over 200 mph will only leave a bruise 😂

I was thinking getting caught in a tornado would be fun (although almost certainly lethal), but it probably wouldn't be for long

If you see that the tornado doesn’t look like it’s moving or spinning, it’s actually coming towards you.
If you can’t find shelter or a low ditch to lay in, and it’s getting closer to you, then you should close your eyes, take a deep breath, and brace your self for your inevitable end.

Lesson learned: Get in the tornado shelter when there’s a tornado on the ground.

What actually happens is you get nocked unconcious because how violent the winds are, just think of that getting kicked in the stomach as hard you ever felt.

My childhood hometown is in a place where tornadoes were common all the freaking time, so this makes it so much easier to understand why tornadoes are dangerous.

My mother told me that she remembers getting dragged by a tornado in a hurricane but grandpa managed to save her before she could ever fly off.

There are tornadoes that have picked up people and they survived. During the tri-state tornado 25 students and there teacher were picked up. They were thrown into a field and they all survived.

Great story- did anyone actually have a test subject for this? If they do, I would risk my life for them as they did for the history of science
