Beallara Tahoma Glacier is a cross between Miltassia Cartagena and Odontioda Alaskan Sunset. It has large blooms that look very elegant and smells peppery and spicy :) Enjoy!

So exciting!  I just bought one of these and another Beallara Marfitch Howards Dream.  They're both beautiful and I was happy to see you had this one yourself.

I saw a similar one at the store with waxy flowers like that, but it had like .... little black spots on the petals. I wanted it badly but I am not made of money so I got only one oncidium that i liked a little better. :)

Hi Dannie, it's Lynn from Perth, Western Australia again. My orchid patients are doing very well and some are sending up flower spikes. Noticing new growth on others too. My climate is called Mediterranean, very hot simmers, cool to cold winters. I would like to know what area you live in?

Which types of oncidiums don't absolutely require high humidity? I'm living in low humidity and cooler temperatures (Alaska, USA), and I'm a beginner with orchids - just got a phal. I saw your video on "top five orchids for beginners", so now I'm thinking about an oncidium.

The flowers on my Tahoma Glacier just dropped and I took the opportunity to repot her.  I have to ask: she was potted almost entirely in potting soil with a tiny clump of sphagnum moss in the very center of her roots.  I have a feeling that the Marfitch Howard's Dream I bought at the same time is in the same type of medium.  My question is, are these terrestrial orchids?  Did I do the right thing taking her out of the soil and immediately into a fir bark / moss mix?  I was pretty surprised by the soil.

Very elegant and beautiful. I have a few I believe. I hope mine turn out as good as yours. I noticed the heavy traffic outside. Do you live in a bigger city? Sure looks like it. ;)

@Irma Navarro, where do you get your orchids for that price!? I live in southern cali, in the inland empire and the only orchids i see are the ones at my local stater bros for $25, $49, and even $89! Or eBay available at various prices.

@Danni, what is the song that you used in this video, ive heard it on your other videos and always forget to ask, thanks
