His vocals impersonate pain, confusion, internal war, anxiety etc... We can all indetify with these feelings as humans which makes his singing powerful, real and relatable.

Nice to see Jonathan getting some love, most people don't understand how talented he really is.

Glad to see you're finally going the Insane Singers route. JD is one of my biggest inspirations. Now I will be requesting Kyo from Dir En Grey again.

Jonathan Davis has one of the most distinctive, unique voices in all of rock. There's really no one who sounds like him. And yeah, his growls are actually some of the best I've ever heard!

His versatility is another thing that I feel is actually quite underrated. A lot of people have tried to rip off of Korn, but no one can really do that because there are very few people who can pull off a JD singing impression.

Wanna hear JD at his best? Listen to the whole Untouchables album. The vocal work on that one is still unmatched by his own standards

Jonathan Davis is one of my favorite, but a lot of people don't understand his talent. Thanks for bringing it up. 👍

Jonathan Davis, Corey Taylor and Chester Bennington are my top favorite vocalists with how varied their vocal ranges are. All 3 are badasses in their own respective ways

The song “ daddy” is probably one of the few songs that has ever made me cry and feel so much empathy for jd. During one point of the song he starts crying himself and its honestly heartbreaking

I love his voice. It’s so unique and versatile and beautiful. Korn has been my favorite band since middle school. There’s really nobody like him… even just his “regular” voice when he’s not doing anything crazy is so beautiful and unlike anyone else.

I remember impressing my brother with my ability to recite "Twist" as well as singing "Freak on a Leash" at karaoke with my girlfriend (now wife).

Not that I have any singing talent. I just heard "Twist" a few hundred times and liked to scat along and "Freak on a Leash" is a fun song to sing. Haha

BBK is insane to the point I thought it was fake. John also does a cover of “Creep” which is fire

It was an unexpected video from you Marc.

Jonathan literally shaped the late 90s and 2000s

His voice will never be better than how it sounded on the first album. Just flawless

Isn't anybody to talk about Tearjerker? Have you ever seen him sing it live? Specially at "but I never can" at the heaviest part of the song. Its probably one of his best performances ever

Jon's vocal as a singer really shines on untouchables. It's fucking incredible. Then the growls start a new level of brutal on talitm. He's an amazing vocalist and it just keeps on coming, very difficult to single out him at his best because he's unique af

JD's roar in Dead Bodies Everywhere, has always sent chills down my spine.

In Chi, he is saying real words. "Sick of the same old THING so I dig a hole, bury pain" I don't know if that disqualifies scatting or not, but thought I might put it out there :)

I love Jonathan's voice! All the anger and pain, even if he is doing better now, one can't forget things. He's still my favorite singer, translating my issues with his voice.
