Mahogany deck buff and recoat

Mahogany decking in very good condition. Approximately 5 years since last recoat. Mild oxidation. New Ipe railings.
used buffing machine with 120 grit screens to remove oxidation, and evenly clean flooring without complete resanding of wood. Use palm sanders on smaller areas for the same results. Use hand sanding in corners. Clean all surfaces. Apply Penofin bronze label Brazilian rosewood oil. Natural tone color.
Decking was installed very tight. Prior to refinishing efforts. We used circular saws with wide kerf blade to cut at board joints to allow air flow and water runoff.
Outcome. Decking looks great, decking can breathe and shed water easily.
Recommended maintenance. Wash decking annually with soft brush. Reapply oil no less than 2 days later after drying.
