THAT VIDEO WAS VERY HELPFUL, IT WILL TAKE MY FLY TYING HERE IN NEW ZEALAND UP SEVERAL NOTCHES. LIKED THE TIP ABOUT RUNNING A FINGER OVER THE WAX INSTEAD OF APPLYING IT TO THE THREAD.

Nice tie Karl! You know with that hollow tubing you can actually add some flash inside it instead of wrapping it on the hook. Just take a single long fiber of Krystal flash and feed it into the hollow center and then wrap it. As long as the tubing is not too opaque it works well. I like to use Krystal Flash for that because it reflects light from so many more points than the flat mylar or Flashabou does.
