Hi i did as you said but it’s not uploading and keep showing me this errror:
avrdude: stk500_recv():programmer not responding
Avrduded: stk500_getsync() attempt 10 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x6b
Please help me

Great video, unfortunately the driver you listed will no longer work, if I understand correctly ftdi has banned copy cats of their chip with the current driver you list. It gives error code 39 at least on my system. I had to download an old version of the ftdi driver to get it to work. The version that worked for me is 2.08.24. if you accidentally used the other driver, uninstall the device/driver and manually install browsing to the old driver .inf folder to put in the older ftdi driver. Good luck.

I just bought an arduino pro mini ATmega 328p and FTDI FTL232RL on aliexpress and I was wonderng if we need to burn the bootloader first before programing the pro mini please ?

I did everything as mentioned in this video, still, I am unable to upload the sketch to Arduino pro mini. What might be the problem? Getting the error message as "not in sync: resp=0x07."

hello there, does this process also applies to the nano? my nano usb does not work unless i apply power to the board but if i do this externally then it wont reset when the ide uploading needs it so i need another method for uploading so i thought maybe this would work? i just need to know how to, thanks

Also, change your cable if it doesn't see your Board on Com Ports after installing the drivers... :P

I just wasted half an hour of my life to get to that conclusion... make it count :)
