Hey, it worked! My Schok phone went black, wouldn't start, plugged the power cord in, red light, but still wouldn't start. I pressed the power and volume buttons together as you described, it started up, and was working. You saved me the hassle of shipping the old one back for a replacement, and of course there's the satisfaction of fixing something that's broken and watching it work again.

wow, I feel like I owe you so much for your help on this... haven't had my schok phone more than 3 days, just woke up to seeing my phone show the time: 7:17pm... yet my bedside clock showing 2:02am... was about to try and pull the back of my phone off, but then decided to google the problem... your video was the first one to show... did as you said... good as new!🤗 thank you so, so much!

Thank you so much! When I plugged it in it would not charge and it would turn off and on even though the light is on. I held power and volume up and then the other trick and I just clicked on the restart option and it turned on and started charging!

Nice I'm going to try this one right now! The other tutorial I was reading didn't have the first step to power on with vol + first, and if the phone is locked the menu options can't be selected... Thanks for this tutorial.
