I’m so glad you got Niko too. They are absolutely adorable together. Sad to hear that he was abused for a while. But happy at how quickly he has adjusted to his new wonderful home.

Sibling dogs are the best! Ours played hard with each other and where you found one, the other was right there. When the one brother died, the other brother looked for him and slept in his spot for months. They are truly amazing bullies!

Animals recognize each other even after years apart its truly amazing! When my first adopted ferrets where like 4-5 years old I had a similar experience. My boys where familiar with Renaissance fairs, where our group camped in our own tents. Of course my boys where only kept in quiet areas and taken for strolls over the fair for little half an hour walks so they wouldn't overstimulate. Anyway it was a very hot event, with the sun being brutal. My boys where inside the tent sleeping when I saw a group of people just sitting in the shade, in the grass near our camp. I was they had two ferrets with them so I offered Water and some treats which they gladly accepted. One of the ferrets reminded me of my Odin and I told the owner as much. She was like "Well we got ours at a breeder near xyz". I was floored because this was exactly the small village where my breeder came from. I asked the age of the Ferret and it matched the age of my boys. So I got them out and we had a play date. Odin and this other little guy hit it off right away, although the owner said her Ferret is rother shy with other strange ferrets. You could see they where checking each other out very meticulously and started playing. They where from the same litter! So many years later and they still knew each other. We never saw each other again after that but it sure was a cool experience

That is so sweet! We have a fifty pound pile of hair named Niko! He’s border collie, mini schnauzer and heeler and very smart with the most expressive ears!
