I wonder if we can use this metric to inform us about our recovery state after a workout... I have personally practiced the Wim Hof breathing technique for years and my retention times drastically go down after a workout (both resistance training and cardio). It always takes a few days to get back to my normal retention times.

I really love Andrew Huberman, ❤

I don’t mean to be a heater.

But It’s not a zero cost website.

Love you all again 💜

This video should be underestimated. Balancing autonomous system is very important in our live including basically all the area such as productivity and even sleep

Very cool, gentlemen.
Using nose on exhale is an interesting tip.
I shall try after next workout!

Hi Andrew!

I'd love to learn more about best practices and protocols for injury recovery. Torn muscles, shin splints, runners knee, etc. Ice, heat, anti inflammatories (Motrin)?

Thanks!

This is a change in the way he used to teach it.

Never used to be until lungs empty. Used to be until first break in exhale smoothness and fluency.

Hi Andrew! Great clip!
One question. When I exhale I should leave my lungs completely empty, right?
Thank you for these videos!

Is there a medical study for this method?

I personally would consider not using the 4D timer - be only in contact with the breathing

I have 85 seconds, tested multiple times. But still not feeling great, pretty anxious

Co2 in the blood is a great indicator of how to spot complexes that stem from trauma.
