In this video we look at the difference between Patriotism and Nationalism. We first start by looking at the history of the two words and when they first began being used. Then we look at how they are defined. Next, we compare them side by side, looking at the differences in how and when they are used. Afterwards, we dive into how they are being used today. Lastly, we determine whether Nationalism is always bad and whether there is a good use for it in today’s world.

I would say that nationalism vs patriotism is more of a spectrum of ideas. Some people would have beliefs from both sides. Some might believe that they live on the greatest country ever, but also criticize it for the bad things it has done. Some people think that they should put there country first, while also believing that the input of other countries is important.
