I have a WRM, a Zhisu and an MGC. The thing I don't like about the WRM is the middle layers which I find too stiff. Maybe it's my setup, but I can't get it to be more balanced compared to the outer layers. I switched to the Zhisu as my main after I got it, but with some breaking in, it ended up to have a little imbalance on the opposite side: the outer layers seem to have a bit too much friction, and so it's not as stable as I'd like it to be. Finally, I got the MGC, and it's my current main. Best balanced in my opinion, pretty fast and stable.

There hasn’t been anything circumstantial that was been released since this video, so this video is still a great resource for 4x4 comparisons of the top brands. I have the MGC and GAN but I think I want to pickup the x-man and the RSM4 mainly for the different feels of the cube but the WRM is one of those that I want but never seem to buy.

Amazing video! I have:
- angstrom wrm
- mystic gts2m
- angstrom ambition
- mini zhisu (have it the angstrom treatment)
- sebastions mgc

I average just under 1-minute, so not the best at 4x4 lol

The GTS2M internal magnets were too strong for me and it was heavier. The outer layers turn the smoothest!

Mini Zhisu was amazing tbh. Super cheap, very fast! But tighten it because it will pop!

Mgc is really nice too, fast, but I was getting worse times with it. It might just be me though

WRM is super reliable. Very stable. But slow slow slow. Constantly have to keep tossing DNM in there. Also, cant be too lose or it will pop. I mained this one since it came out!

Ambition is actually my main now! So, it's the least stable. Need to turn accurately. But, the light airy turning and it being nice and light is what I love most. Plus the weak magnets. I can just turn and my hands dont tire out after longer sessions. Color scheme isn't the best (green could be darker), but it works. Also, it holds lube very well! So re-lubing isnt that necessary. Due to the unstability, you'll have to play with tensions until you find your sweet spot.

Ambition isn't for many people since you need a lot of work to make it work for you. WRM and Mini Zhisu is what I would recommend!

I have the gts2m, mgc and the wrm

With the mgc I have a lot of blocks and it is a bit slow for me

With the wrm I feel that it is very fast and I like that but the scratchy feeling and some blocks due to the speed made me recently come back with …

The gts2m, I feel that it is currently my perfect cube, it has speed and a lot of control and a soft sensation, due to the years and use I am thinking of buying another one and without a doubt I still recommend it

My main 4x4 is gts2m. I love this cube. I set it up with fast lube and it is really smooth, fast and cornercutting is also really good. I would recommend it.

If I had to recommend a 4x4 definetly the aosu gts2m. I also have the aosu wrm but i dont like it very much because of the corner cutting

My main is the wrm and the zhilong. It depends on my mood to be honest. For blind the wrm also just is required for me since the mid layers are harder to flick and slice

I also noticed the Zhisu mini's slight tendency to pop if turning inaccurately. honestly on the fence about trying a new 4x4, or just continue practicing, since this is my first magnetic 4x4 (i used three non-magnetic 4x4s before this).

I’m interested in YJ Zhilong 4x4, have tested it in a comp but I found it too loose. How do you tension it so its not super loose and not super tight? And which way do you turn the screw to tighten the cube, I legit forgot lol

I traded for an ambition. If I had any other 4x4 I wouldn't be maining it. Inner layers feel stiff and prone to lockups no matter now much tensioning or dnm I do. And the dnm just ends up making the outers very fast. It is pop happy, but the pops are decently easy to fix. Don't get an ambition. Pricey and garbage.

Great comparison. My only critique is that you tend to slur your words a lot and I find it really hard to understand what you are saying a lot of the time. I would recommend that you either focus on improving your articulation/enunciation a bit or at least try to speak a bit slower if possible.
