Fantastic video, you're good at breaking things down. This technique is a great one to have for the right opportunity. I'm a maintenance person for a university campus that includes residences for students and staff, and I often get to repair drywall walls and ceilings and match textures. Thank-you.

I'm in multi family housing in AZ, not much skip trowel anymore but occasionally come across it. This video was extremely helpful. I do a lot of knock down, or smooth finishes. I have a pool bathroom with a skip trowel texture though so I needed this! Appreciate it!

Going to skip trowel kitchen and bath of condo I'm inheriting. Had to strip wallpaper which kind of trashed some parts.

Should I skim coat first or just skip trowel over the surface? We did spackle divits and taped areas where we had to move electric. Thanks so much! Your videos are awesome!

I am redoing my bathroom. I just put two coats of skim coat on the ceiling and walls and want to do this on my ceiling. You make it look so easy!
