Monitors: I use a 27” 4k monitor with my Mini; 99% of the time that’s fine, but if I need an extra monitor I just use my iPad Pro. Also: my 16Gb M1 Mac Mini is _still_ the best computer I’ve ever had. Great video, absolutely spot on!

I'll answer your question: I just did. I replaced a 10 year old 8-core Mac Pro w/32GB RAM, 3 SSDs and a beefy GPU (a 5000$ computer when it came out) with the base 699$ M1 mini and could not be happier. It's so fast, cool, quiet and efficient that feels like Sci-Fi witchcraft.

Bought mine from Costco about half a year ago for $569.. best deal yet for a computer this good. So fast, so quite, and very smooth when running several apps at the same time. Sometimes I’m still in awe of this computer. Definitely best computer I’ve ever had so far.

I've been a big fan of the Mac Mini ever since... forever. I traded in my old i5 version when the M1 came out and have never looked back. I do highly recommend to get the 16GB version and at least 512GB of storage. Since this is something you will likely keep for many years to come, it's best to spec it out higher than you might think you will need.

I got one the first week it released, I got the lowest end spec, and it is my most useful tool in my workflow and daily life for myself and my house hold. Being able to just hook it up to any tv and being able to bring it to presentations or over to friends houses while house sitting… it’s the best.

The M1 is such an awesome SoC. My iPad Pro and MacBook Air both are still crazy fast and efficient like three years later damn near. No thermal issues.. they spent a decade working on it (in theory) whereas the M2 got like 11 months.. and it shows.

The M1 is where it’s at.

I bought mine refurbished over 15 months ago. 8g ram and 512HD. There have only been a few tines I would have liked 16g ram but only a few. It's an excellent option!

I really enjoy my 8GB/256GB M1 Mac Mini. It's decisively faster than my old 2011 Mac Mini. We had an Easter sale out here in April, and I got my M1 for $499. I couldn't be more pleased, and I'm glad I listened to you. For my use case, there's no reason to opt for a 16GB machine and a huge SSD. This machine is perfect for me. Thumbs 👍!

I use 3 monitors, 1 tv monitor and 1 ceiling mounted projector with the Mac mini. Just got it all installed and running about 7 months ago! Works great with Propresenter!

I think I love everything about my Mac mini all of those ports are in use: USB A keyboard and mouse, headphone jack for speakers, HDMI for monitor, Thunderbolt to plug in 2nd display and iPad, then the Ethernet for Ethernet and the plug obviously! There we go the ports are worth

I own the 16gb version of the M1 Mac mini, and it does exactly what I need it to do. I am a photographer and utilize Lightroom and Photoshop, but I don't get into heavy editing in PS with 50 layers lol. I do simple portrait work for schools, and also families. I use a 34 inch MSI ultra wide monitor.

I bought the 256/16 m1 mini when they first came out. I didn’t think things would operate properly without 16gb. Well, I didn’t understand how unified memory works…..now I do. I recently picked up a late 2021 m1 MacBook Air for $650, yes I said 650 and it’s in perfect condition. For what I do, YouTube and some WoW, I can’t tell a difference between the two. I have two excellent devices for less than most people pay for a MacBook Pro. So happy with these devices!!

I work tech support from home. A multi-monitor set up allows me to screen share by clearing stating which 1 out of my 3 monitors I am sharing. This is especially useful when showing clients how to navigate to settings without worrying about what’s on my desktop.
