Go for m1....m2 has a slower SSD, with 8 GB Ram, swap memory usage is a critical thing.

Hence, m2 with 8 GB doesn't perform to justify 20k price bump despite having marginally better CPU.

M1 is not just for "normal" stuff, being using it since when it was newly released. I have postman, 2 IntelliJ windows, MongoDB compass, dbeaver for postgres, 5-6 chrome browsers, Slack and Evernote opened all the time. Sometimes it shows memory full error (yes its base model so ram is 8 gb) but 95% of the times it does the job.

MacBook Air M1 is the best laptop. Got mine a year ago @72k. If you want looks go for M2; inside they're basically same

MacBook actually very value for money compared to iPhones, because they great for normal usage and provide the best battery life

I still use Windows and Linux through dual Boot, so it's a Win-Win situation for me 😂
