Before & After Dentures!

When I was first getting my dentures, I had no idea what to do, where to start, and I was so afraid. If it wasn't for the online denture community, I would have been so lost, and I would have been too scared to go through with getting my teeth removed & getting dentures.

In this video, I go over some of the things that I looked for when I was first preparing for my surgery and to get my dentures. I hope this helps anyone who is looking for information and starting this journey on their own.

I go over my before and after photos, what I look like without teeth, talking without teeth, and what I look like with my new Dentures!

Thank you for sharing your personal experience with us. I had my extractions seven years ago. I only wore my dentures 4-5 times since. I have a hyperactive gag reflex and now I don’t socialize much. My kids are understanding and my grandkids only know me the way I look now. In the past seven years I have missed so much because of this. 😢 You are a true inspiration.

Just found your video. I just got full mouth extractions done 9 days ago. Now I have dry socket. I been a mess. I know I’ll get through this. My story is I smoked for 10 years then I ended up with bone disease. So it started decaying my teeth. It was to the point where this was life or death. My whole mouth was highly infected. It was a nightmare..I’m still healing I got dentures right away. But I can’t wear them the tops I can a lil not the bottoms. I go back on the 11th for my first soft reline. So I hope they stay in. Why did you have to wait 6 months? Is that how long you wait for permeant dentures? I think they told me that too. I had to get a loan out of the bank for 9, 000 dollars..it’s crazy.

Thank you for putting this up. I have had my teeth out since last May 2023. I am getting really good with the uppers, but the losers are abridge . They hurt.. the stabilizers that help hold them in presses against the remaining teeth. I can not wear them. Thank you.

I'm in my late 40's and I've had severe infections and I've suffered tooth loss definitely gum loss. Finances are why- and bad genes. Both maternal and paternal all had tons of problems when young, I have an appointment I know they'll try to sell me implants which I just can't afford right now. But I have to do something bc I am way too insecure and I'm not working, bc I'm mortified the way my remaining teeth look and not to mention I could gargle every 5 seconds and my breath is always so bad I could wake the dead. I'm embarrassed to talk to anyone bc even I have gum, I know how it probably still smells, and then how it looks. Compared to what they once looked like (perfect) so now. I have to pull all the roots left and teeth left bc they all moved and shifted dentures is just the only way to go for me financially and even that isn't do-able but care credit is making it do-able

My extraction day was June 18th, so I’m going on two and a half months toothless and have an appt at the beginning of sept for idek what 😂 but I am ITCHING to eat real food and talk normally and I’m definitely having the anxieties of if I’ll look normal and what not. I appreciate your videos and your willingness to be so vulnerable 🥹 it really helps
