I'm with China on this, the situation has been tense but stable for decades, it really didn't need USA stirring things up.

Taiwan is where the Chinese Emperor & his Court ended up during the Communist Revolution so both sides feel a claim to both territories & that also makes it an internal dispute that no other country should be interfering with.
