Thanks for this video! First time rnging an egg, in any generation. I got a shiny magikarp with really good stats and hp flying, in a really early frame. Is not 31 in everything because I wanted the hidden power to be 70. Anyway, once you hit your held advance at least once, then you just need to manipulate the pickup one, which makes this relatively safe at some point. I have been rnging my sapphire for a week with your videos and its really fun

Thanks for this! If I'm understanding correctly, this is completely different from how eggs are generated in Emerald? Ie, it's impossible to manip the nature and shininess of the egg first, and then RNG for IVs. But if not concerned about IVs, and just shininess, (and not wanting to manip SID) this seems like a much, much easier way to find shinies than Emerald eggs.

First of all, thanks for all the tutorials. Thanks to mostly your help, I've been able to learn how to rng on gen 3, 4 and 5 but this, egg RNG on R/S, is one I haven't mastered yet. I just do not understand the whole held/pickup frame thing. When do I know I got the held frame right and when do I just need to start again with putting the pokemon in the day care all over again? I just don't get it. Thanks for any reply

Ok, so what if you're doing this and the guy is *not* holding an egg after you leave the house? Does that mean I didn't hit my target frame, or does that mean I need to take the pokemon out of the daycare and then start the process over again until he has an egg on step 255?

What's my best choice for getting a parent that can't be found in the wild like gen 2 starters? Manip a good ditto in emerald and then breed for another parent?

Coming off the back off the previous RNG videos, this one is incredibly time consuming in comparison, largely due to how long it takes to hatch the eggs. I've been on this the better part of a week and haven't even been able to hit the held advances yet. :(

So, i tried this but apparently the newborn skarmory is nowhere to be found on pokefinder when i need to check what frame i hitted. I can't figure out why, any tips? I'm pretty sure his spreads are correct

So I have a question about the Eon Timer. I still have the Glaceon setup one, and I used the link in the bio to download it again after uninstalling, and it gave me the Glaceon one yet again. Is it the same version? Is the Glaceon theme only aesthetic? Or is it a different program?

Do you know if you can technically chain eggs together by maybe applying a Max Repel after receiving your first egg and repeating with the same frames? (Assuming you know you're close on your target frames.)
