In my case, the 2 wires in the ceiling are the same color and I can't tell them apart. How do I find which wire is the hot wire? Thanks!

Hey so I have a chandelier, and there is clear wire. I’m having trouble finding the ridges. One of the wires has white writing on it and the other doesn’t. I tried a multimeter I said it to 2M ohms. I touch the red from the multimeter to the base inside into a wire. I got movement and a reading. Then I touch the other wire and got movement and a rating. I then touched the red to where the threads were touch and got movement and a reading on both wires anyway to help thanks.

My led lamp has the black wire N symbol and the white wire has L symbol so that mean that I have to connect black with white and white with black wire
