have you had a dialysis treatment? I have for 12 yrs and you are not telling the truth. Actual dialysis (being on the machine) does hurt. you cramp, feel pulling from your heart with a catheter or fistula or graft I have had all. I have done all the different dialysis and they all are uncomfortable for different reasons. Can you please ask a patient? I feel very defeated. I'm 39 yrs old ready to go to hospice because the pain is too great and I keep getting told what I look like. An example I look to healthy to be sick, I look fine so I must be, I'm not dying so just suck it up. all this has forced me to withdrawal from my life period. If I'm by myself I don't have to move for anything other than food and drink. Living on social security is a joke. It's expensive to be sick. I can barely afford my bills and get to treatment also causing the quality of life to not be very good at all. This affects my mental health in a big way. Also including my relationships with close family members and my boyfriend, no one wants to be around me because I'm lashing out and acting out.

Hurts like a bitch. Non-stop Charlie horse cramps during treatment, you will be completely dehydrated, you will probably have trouble walking afterwards (I sure did), and to top it off they won't let you drink water, so you always feel like you're dying of thirst. You will have very little energy and absolutely ZERO stamina, as the procedure robs you of red blood cells. It's horrible.
If you want to wish you were already dead, have a go. If you would rather be dead, just don't go. Have a little fun and expire naturally.

I can't feel sorry for people that continue to eat meat and don't want to be vegan to save their lives and the animals life.
