Brilliant. Simply brilliant. Excellent narrator as well.

You've outdone yourselves with this series.

Genuinely maybe the only real mistake one could point to napoleon making was denying the Frankfurt proposals. Up to that point many of his decisions had been made when he was the only person in history to be able to make them effectively. Having acknowledged his disadvantage in the moment and recollect his resources and gaining acknowledgment of his holding from all major powers would have set himself up nicely as a genuine ruler and begin an unquestioned lineage for his family.

It is unlikely Napoleon's invasion of Russia would have succeeded, even if it began earlier in the year. He actually lost the bulk of his forces in *summer* and NOT winter. And those losses were largely desertion (a large share of his troops were not French, but from other nations of dubious loyalty towards the French), as well as heat exhaustion, disease, etc. The Napoleon lost because of the Russian winter is a bit overplayed, with the role of the toll the summer took on his forces badly understated.

1. Talleyrand was a total weasel and also drove Napoleon nuts. 2. Napoleon's brother Joseph, made king of Spain, was quite bright and well educated and could see how implacably the spanish priests were ginning up the populace against the Bonapartist king, and tried to let his brother know. But Nap wouldn't listen to joseph., But he should've. 3. I'll close in brief by saying this is the most collosally great presentation of this topic that i've ever come across. Great thoughtful synthesis in best sense of that word! ! In a most useable compact form ! ! Thank you.

Napoleon was a great man with a great fall. I have learnt a lot from his successes and failures which I will apply to my own life. Thanks for this Five-part EPIC TPP, I am truly grateful.

Would have appreciated more detail into Napoleon's come back from Elba and his way back to Paris, but still good video. Nice work!

This is a truly amazing series. And kudos to Alexander McConnell, the narrator. Great voice, diction, intonation - truly amazing. NOW - please - what is the name of the march that concludes each episode?
