Why is this titled the rise and fall of Napoleon? This documentary only talks about the rise of Napoleon and only up to the point of where he seizes power in France.

NAPOLEON BONAPARTE...he's such a hero. I read a biography on him. Now I watched this video, which was AWESOME!!! I like how this video was made, and also the effects of the documentary.

This is a very interesting video, of a very famous historical figure from when he was young. All previous videos that I've watched had focused only on his rise to power, and his wars. But not the times that he was in military college, having to deal with those from established aristocratic families, for instance.

I already knew pretty much most of the stuff they talked about in this video all ready but they explained it very well.

This was very good---until it stopped! The guy went on to an interesting career; tis a shame the video doesn't cover it.

in the end Egypt defeated Napoleon and he left his army to return to France telling his followers he had a great victory which was a lie…shocked this documentary glossed over this

The paintings: he has huge eyes, like a doll. Like a Barbie doll

Wonder if paintings are accurate

I quit at 10 minutes. If this documentary of 50 minutes has spent 20% of its time and Napolean is still a child of 9... is this supposed to be "The rise of Napoleon until he's old enough to drive"?

I wish I could travel back in time to that fateful day of snowball fight to hear his very first commands

Napoleon never understood sea power or its importance which is why the French left Egypt in defeat due to the British naval victory at the Battle of the Nile. Napoleon could not project power far overseas with his weak Navy and which could not protect French ports from many years of crippling embargoes by the British Navy.

Why no subtitles? Is your audience not smart enough to read?

Dis comment was written when drunk, don't take seriously, also not completed or fully thought out.

Sure, everybody talks about how he did a lot of really horrible things later on, but still, he did some incredible stuff. Reconsidered the all-established views and stuff. The modern world kind of learned nothing at the median level. Sure, we have all the cool new stuff and neural networks are like on par with the early math in levels of importance and other big stuff, but, like, the median tho. Go work then come home, drink beer n' stuff listening to stories and rumors. Sure, we have work hard earn big jobs now, but wasn't that also a thing back then, like working through the system in clever ways and inventing new ways to do stuff better suited for the personal situation
