It works. It's not a gimmick but it most certainly can be when you do it for 30 days and give up like it's a trend. Fitness is not a 30 day commitment it's a lifetime one.

It works perfectly fine for me. The issue is you don't move your hips and in a hooping motion. You more bounce your body side to side.

After using mine for a couple of years, I have found that it works better if it is "snug" around your waist. So if you are having trouble getting it to stay moving, try tightening it a bit. 🥰

Rock one foot in front of the other, and rock in a motion like if you ever jumped double dutch, it's that rock back and forth motion. Hope this helps.

I found out that IF it doesn't work with the weight going in one direction then try reversing the direction to go in the other direction...works better! 😊

Same thing with me...the 1st couple of tries I was disappointed...but a few more tries & now I have the hang of it & love it😊

Just bought mine a week ago and after just a few uses of about 10 minutes my waistline is carving in. There is a very visible deeper curve in my waistline. I just do it for a few minutes a day, not 30, 5-10 minutes.

The key is to keep it in your mid section with it resting on your lower back. And you need to spread your feet apart and rock side to side. You dont roll your hips

It works better if u let the weight down more. So the string is longer. U won't hit yourself as easily.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. Don't use too much hip because that's how you hula hoop normally, but since the target is your core, you have use your core more.

My favorite contraption! I have a successful way of doing it and mine came with a number counter.

U know wat I bought it n tried it a few times in seconds bt I realize it teaches you how to rotate your hips according to its movement n defiantly it wil.b worth trying
