I've created very detailed videos about the I.A. elsewhere. This series invites you into my process as I create a sample. This video looks at developing a set of thesis statements with supporting evidence. The next will look at creating (10) effective bullet points. The final video will be an actual 10-min. sample oral.

Love your video, you really need more exposure in the IB community. I have a quick question, should I start by looking at a general global issue between two books or analyze random extracts from a book and choose a global issue from there? I am stuck at choosing an extract that really represents the global issue as a whole within the novel and need some help.

Thanks for every video that you have created to support students and teachers approach the most challenge course. 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I am supporting my students choose the extract and we are very confused about how to delivery a video become an extract. Some teachers told me that we could take some photos of screen and write down the transcript. However we don't know how long for the transcript (35-40lines same as literary extract). Please help us. I am very appreciated your response. Many Thanks

This is incredibly useful! I am just a little confused about why the selected works are categorised the Art, creativity etc. section, since I believed that to use it I should select extracts which discuss the creative process itself. If I wanted to embark on depictions of post-war trauma, what category/categories could it cover as s GI?

Thanks for this video. It really hepls a lot.
I have chosen both the literary and non-literary works/extracts - one is Marjane Satrapi's graphic novel "Persepolis" and the other one is a political cartoon of a similar theme - and the global issue I want to explore is the ways in which religious extrimism negatively impacts people's rights and freedoms. Do you think it is a valid issue to investigate? How can I make up a more specific question so that the presentation is clearer? Thanks in adance.

Hello, great video!! but I wanted to know if we can include examples that are not part of our extract to further the analysis of the extract

Hello. I chose The Show by Wilfred Owen and On Death without Exaggeration by Wisława Szymborska and was wondering if my global issue “governmental bodies’ greed for power dominates over individual’s welfare” work for these two excerpts?

(1:10) Is the body of work as a whole for poetry a range of poems from that poet? Or just the poem?

Hi there,
I was thinking of choosing my global issue on the impact of the tension between modern and traditional attitudes (East-West dichotomy, so to say) on shaping individuals' identities. But I don't know if that would be considered a global issue. Do you have any ideas?

Where did you find the IO document you're using? I'm a teacher and cannot find it on the IB site
