fantastic video guys. i have a question in regard to the grade boundaries. where do you guys think a 32/40 would roughly sit? I am aware that the boundaries change depending on the examination session but just a general idea?

It's important to have a link to an IB theme as well, right? Maybe I missed that because I was focused on the global issue reference which was really great

One question - what is considered as insight? (seen in band 9-10 criteria B). My understanding is it is an analysis that is not obvious. For example, in the use of stage directions in Hedda Gabler, she is the only character who never leaves the house which symbolises how she is trapped. Further, characters only talk to her when inside which shows how she weighs them down and creates toxic relationships. Is this insight or just analysis?

So the global issue that I'm going with is Culture, identity and community. My issue is Stereotyping in disney movies. The movies I've selected are snow white and the seven dwarfs, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the beast and Mulan. The question I have is that do I need to select more disney princess movies as there are plenty of already made and some recently made. Can I stick to a certain time period and select certain movies or do I have to choose all of them?

First of all thank you so much for this video :)) My global issue is “parental pressure pushes people to adapt their own moral compass to society’s values” but I am not sure if this goes with the global area culture, identity and community or beliefs, values and education. Hi, may I ask what this IO ended up getting as a final IB grade? The audio recording is titled 38 but I'm not sure if this is the score, as you guys marked it much lower in this video. Thanks!
