Nissan's iconic compact crossover, the JUKE, is now equipped with an advanced hybrid powertrain that promises efficient and responsive performance. Drivers will enjoy its 100% electric-only start up and powerful regenerative braking, as well as EV drive in urban settings up to 80 per cent.

The hybrid system has been designed to maximise JUKE's already agile and dynamic personality while minimising the frequency of the engine switching on and off. To achieve this, a true multi-mode gearbox is used for efficient, responsive and harmonious drive.

The powerful hybrid powertrain consists of a new generation 69kW (94hp) engine alongside a 36kW (49hp) electric motor and a 15kW high voltage starter/generator. This allows for 25% more power than the current petrol engine option with fuel consumption reduction reaching up to 40% in urban cycle.

Smart features such as a dedicated EV mode switch allow drivers to force the vehicle into pure EV mode when battery state permits, perfect for residential areas or traffic jams.

With its advanced hybrid powertrain, the new Nissan JUKE Hybrid offers an engaging driving experience accompanied by excellent fuel efficiency - figures estimated at 5.0-5.2 litres/100km* and 114-117g/CO2/km*.

Nissan really could have kept this in the US and replaced the Cube with the current Kicks! I owned the first Gen Juke, loved it and use to get compliments on it often! Would've loved to upgrade to this model and pass mine on to my daughter. Oh well....🤷🏾‍♂️✌🏾❤✊🏾
