When creating a LUT do you have color management on or off? And do you turn off color management for the other clip after using that LUT?

Subscribed, this is excellent. I have a question about cross fading one footage into another, do you know how you can cross fade a clip into another clip without ANY frames being added? Currently the cross fades add frames to the beginning and end of the respective clips based on how long the fade is, but I don't want that, do you know of an elegant solution to this? Or did I just miss an obvious fade option?
