With my clients, I like to use the analogy of house design vs construction, since most people can relate to a house. Architects create the "blueprints", and once they are approved, the construction company takes that blueprint and gets their workers to build it. In my experience it's rare that someone is both an excellent designer & developer, as they both require different skill sets and ways of thinking.

Generally speaking, designers are able to take abstract ideas and create products to visualise them (3D renders, design assets, blueprints), and developers take that visualisation and create a working product.

Myself, as a developer, I struggle with creating something from abstractions. I prefer to work backwards from a goal and find the solution to make it work.

Responsivenes and seo makes this two combined the development and design .seo means you have to impress something which is google to make your way to your visibility on google serp, and your audience responsiveness on the otherhad is making tour website run smooth and function smooth that includes the dynamics aswell . Both of them are now can be learned from modern bootcamps as learning path for front end

Normally developers work with code, they are able to change it and understand it. I don't think that you need a developer for Webflow, since the code access is restricted to everyone.

When you are a designer that wireframes and mock-ups in Figma, then develops in Webflow. Are they a developer? Even without hard coding?
